Polling day for referndums set as October 4

The polling day for the referendums on scrapping the Seanad and setting up a new Court of Appeal have been confirmed.

Voting in the two referendums will take place on Friday, October 4.

Polling will take place from 7am until 10pm.

3.1 million Irish citizens will be entitled to vote.
