Petrol bomb thrown at house

A couple have escaped injury after their home was targeted by petrol bombers in an overnight attack.

Scorch damage was caused to the outside of the house in Fivemiletown.

Petrol bombs were thrown at the property on Creevehill Road at around 3am.

Police have not yet established a motive for the attack but at this stage they believe it was not sectarian.

Officers want to speak to witnesses, particularly the young motorist who stopped to alert the couple that their house had been hit.
