Pat Hickey: I will fight charges

Pat Hickey has said he will fight the charges against him 100%.

The former Olympic Council of Ireland President has broken his silence after he was released from Bangu Prison in Rio on Tuesday.

Mr Hickey said he is staying in Rio to fight the charges, but will be also taking time to look after his health.

He is facing charges of ticket touting at the Olympics, but any wrongdoing.

Yesterday Hickey's family met with the Foreign Affairs Minister to discuss his situation.
