Nine people in hospital after Luas crash

Nine people have been taken to hospital following a crash between a Luas tram and a car in Dublin.

The incident at Davitt Rd in Inchicore occurred just after 10pm last night.

Davitt Road at the junction of Suir Road was closed to allow Gardaí to examine the scene, but has now reopened.

An investigation into the incident has been launched.
