NI electricity prices to rise by 14% in July

The company that provides electricity in the North has announced plans to increase its prices by 14% from the start of July.

Northern Ireland Electricity says further "significant" price rises are also likely in the autumn due to the rising international cost of coal, gas and oil.

The increases come on top of a recent rise in prices for natural gas customers in the North.
