Motorcyclist dies in Limerick road accident

A motorcyclist has died in an accident t Kilballyowen, Bruff, Co Limerick this evening.

The collision occurred at approximately 5.10pm on the Bruff to Knockainey road when the motorcycle collided with a wall.

The man was pronounced dead at the scene. His remains are still at scene and are expected to be removed to the Mid Western Hospital in Limerick later.

The road is closed to facilitate a forensic collision examination and local diversions are in place.
