Minogue turns to Dearie for inspiration

Pop superstar Kylie Minogue is turning to veteran jazz artist Blossom Dearie for inspiration for her new album.

The Spinning Around hitmaker has been working on new tracks for the follow-up to her last studio album, 2003's Body Language, and revealed yesterday she was looking to the jazz star for new ideas.

She says: "I went to see Blossom Dearie today. She inspired some of the tracks on my last album.

"I'm working on a new one now, and after Cannes I'm going to Stockholm to do some recording."
