Met Eireann forecasts little chance of white Christmas

Despite the bookies predictions it is looking less likely that Ireland will see a white Christmas this year.

Met Eireann has forecast mild weather in the run-up to festive period.

Last year Ireland recorded unusually high temperatures across the country on Christmas Day and meterologist Harm Luijkx has said there is no sign of a cold front in the coming weeks.
