Met Éireann, Cork city council issue flood warnings

Met Éireann has issued a flood warning for parts of the south and east coast for later tonight and tomorrow morning.

Very high tides and on-shore gales are forecast, with rainfall of up to 25 millimetres in places.

Cork city council has also issued a flood warning for possible tidal flooding in low-lying areas of the city centre.
