Mayo group seeks Independent candidate for General Election

A new group is calling for candidates to put themselves forward to contest the next General Election for the county of Mayo.

The '1st Independent MAYO' group was established to select someone to stand as an Independent candidate for the county.

The process will involve a series of meetings in towns and villages around Mayo in order to develop policies ahead of the next General Election.
