Man's body found near Cliffs of Moher

Gardaí have sealed off an area in north Clare where the body of a man has been discovered.

The man's remains were uncovered at a quarry near the Cliffs of Moher this morning.

The man's body - which was found this morning - remains at the scene south of the Cliffs of Moher tourist centre.

The area had been sealed off as part of the investigation into the disappearance of 41-year-old Adrian Folan.

The Office of the State Pathologist has been contacted, and a preliminary examination of the body will be carried out later.
