A man in his 20s has died after being stabbed in Dublin.
He was wounded when a fight broke out amongst a number of people on Saint Cronin's Avenue in Swords at around 9.20pm.
His name has not yet been released, and a Garda investigation is underway.
The victim was injured in the altercation involving a number of people and taken to Beaumont Hospital for treatment, where he was later pronounced dead.
A post-mortem is expected to be carried out on his remains.
The scene of the incident has been sealed off for forensic examinations.
Gardaí are appealing for anyone who witnessed the incident, or anything unusual on St Cronin's Avenue at the time, to come forward.
