Man stabbed on Bachelor's Walk in Dublin

A man has been arrested following a stabbing incident in Dublin city centre this evening.

It happened on Bachelor's Walk, near the O'Connell Street, at around 5:30pm.

A man received a minor stab wound to his hand, and is being treated for his injuries.

The Garda Armed Support Unit attended the scene and a man is understood to have been arrested in connection with the incident.

Investigations are ongoing.
