Man stabbed in face

Four people were arrested this afternoon after a man was stabbed in daylight hours near Dublin City Centre.

The attack happened in the Maryland area of the Coombe at around 3pm. He was stabbed in the face, leaving him with injuries not believed to be life-threatening.

Three men and a woman - all in their 20s – were later arrested and taken for questioning under Section Four of the Criminal Justice Act to Kilmainham and Kevin Street garda stations.
