Man shot in punishment attack in Belfast

An 18-year-old man has been shot in both legs during a paramilitary punishment attack in north Belfast.

Police said a group of masked men entered a house in Manor Close at about 10.15pm last night.

The victim was taken to hospital for treatment to injuries which were not believed to be life-threatening.

A PSNI spokesman asked for any witnesses to come forward.
