Man shot in both legs in Antrim gang attack

A 21-year-old man has been shot by a gang of masked men in Co Antrim.

He was hit in both legs after the men forced their way into a house at Windsor Place, Portrush just before 11pm last night.

A 19-year-old woman and a baby boy were also in the property but were uninjured.

The victim is being treated in hospital for injuries described as serious.

It is believed the gunmen made off on foot.

A spokesman for the Police Service of Northern Ireland has urged anyone with information to contact detectives in Coleraine.
