Man rescued from boat in Shannon Estuary

A man was rescued from a boat which ran aground in the Shannon Estuary this afternoon.

He was reported to be suffering from hypothermia following the incident.

The vessel was spotted by search teams near Ballybunnion in Co Kerry.
