Man questioned over Belturbet death released

A man who was in Garda custody in connection with the death of Darren McGrath in Belturbet in County Cavan has been released without charge.

In total three men and one woman were arrested in relation to the death.

One man appeared in court yesterday charged with the murder on May 20th.

Trevor McCabe of 8 Mountpleasant, Ballyconnell, County Cavan appeared at a special sitting of Monaghan District Court and was remanded in custody to appear before Cloverhill District Court on June 5th.

A file is to be prepared for the Director of Public Prosecutions in relation to the other 3 detentions.
