Man killed in Roscommon road accident

A young man has been killed in a crash in Co Roscommon overnight.

The victim, believed to be aged about 19 or 20, was a passenger when two cars were in collision on the N61 at Ballymurray at 12.10am last night.

The driver of the car, another passenger, and the driver of the other vehicle were taken to hospital. Their injuries are not thought to be serious.
