Man killed in Co Tipperary workplace accident

A man has been killed in a workplace accident in County Tipperary.

It is understood the local man in his 30s died after falling from a stairway at the Gleeson Group facility based in Greenlawn in Borrisoleigh.

He had been working with the Drinks Distributing company for seven years.

The area has been cordoned off and the Health and Safety Authority is conducting an investigation into the incident.
