Man in serious condition after overnight shooting in Dublin

A man is in a serious condition in hospital today after a shooting in Dublin.

The incident happened at a house on Stannaway Road, Crumlin, Dublin 12 at around 2.45am last night.

A man, aged in his early 30s was shot a number of times in a house on Stannaway Road and was removed to St James Hospital.

The scene has been preserved for a technical examination and is being investigated by gardaí at Sundrive Road.

Gardaí are appealing for anyone who was in the Sundrive Road/Stannaway Road area between 2am-3am to contact Sundrive Garda Station 01-6666600, The Garda Confidential Line 1800-666-111 or any Garda Station.
