Man held after €300,000 Dublin drugs haul

A man has been arrested after the seizure of drugs worth an estimated €300,000 in west Dublin.

A variety of drugs were recovered during an operation in Clondalkin.

Gardaí from Rathfarnam and Tallaght carried out a search of a house off the Neilstown Road in Clondalkin last night.

They recovered heroin, cocaine and cannabis herb with a combined potential street value of €300,000, as well as a sum of cash.

A 22- year-old man was arrested and is being held at Rathfarnam garda station under section two of the Criminal Justice Act.

The raid was the result of an on-going operation targetting the sale and supply of drugs in the Clondalkin area.
