Man due in court in connection with woman's assault in Tallaght

A man is due in court in Dublin this morning charged in connection with a serious assault on a woman in Tallaght last year.

The 32-year-old woman suffered serious head injuries during the incident at her home in St Dominic's Terrace on August 23, 2012.

A 43-year-old man was arrested in Germany earlier this month in connection with the assault, and will appear before Tallaght District Court this morning.
