Man due in court in connection with Dublin armed robbery

A man in his 50s is due to appear in court this morning in connection with an armed robbery over the weekend.

A man entered a shop carrying a gun in Ringsend in Dublin on Saturday evening where he threatened staff and demanded cash.

Gardaí charged the arrested man last evening, and he is due to appear before Dublin District Court at 10.30am today.
