Man due in court in connection with arms seizure in Dublin

A man is due to appear in court in connection with a guns and ammunition seizure on Dublin's northside.

The man in his 30s was detained yesterday in connection with the seizure of five firearms and assorted bullets at Quarry Road, in Cabra, last month.

Gardaí seized two sub-machine guns, three hand guns and two silencers in a planned search of a car on November 5.

He is due to appear at the Criminal Courts of Justice this morning.
