Male kayaker drowns off Kerry coast

A man has drowned off the Kerry coast.

Coast Guard chopper, Flight 115, was directed to the area, after a man was seen floating in the water in Castlemaine Harbour this afternoon.

He was brought to the shore and treated by paramedics - but was pronounced dead at the scene.

It is believed his boat may have overturned at sea.
