A 37-year-old man has reportedly been killed in a crash in Co Donegal.

The collision happened at around 11pm last night at Clar, Redcastle, Moville.

The man was the only occupant in the car and he was pronounced dead at the scene.

His body was taken to the morgue at Letterkenny General Hospital where a post mortem is expected to be carried out today.

The road is currently closedfor a forensic examination and diversions are in place until this afternoon.

Gardaí are appealing for witnesses to the collision or anyone who may have been on the road between 9.30pm and 11.15pm on November 2 to contact Buncrana Garda station on 074 9320540, the Garda Confidential Line on 1800 666 111 or any Garda station.
