Man dead after Limerick house fire

A man has died in a house fire in Co Limerick.

The body of the man in his late 60s was found after a blaze at a house in Assumpta Park in Newcastle West between 7.30pm and 9.30pm yesterday.

Gardaí have said there was no one else in the house at the time.

They are also not treating the fire as suspicious.
