Man dead after collision with truck in Co Waterford

A man in his late 20s has died after his car collided with a truck in Co Waterford.

It happened at around 7.50am on the N25 near Kilmacthomas.

The man, who was alone in the car, was pronounced dead at the scene and his body has been taken to University Hospital Waterford.

The truck driver was not injured.

Diversions have been put in place for a forensic collision investigation of the crash site.
