Man charged with stabbing murder

A 21-year-old man was charged tonight with the murder of a man stabbed to death in west Belfast.

Police said he was due to appear at Belfast Magistrates Court tomorrow charged with the killing of Brendan McKay, who was stabbed to death in the Oak Village area, off the Springfield Road on Sunday.

Mr McKay, 21, from Downfine Gardens, west Belfast, died in hospital a few hours after the attack.
