Man charged in connection with Limerick city firearms seizure

Gardaí investigating the seizure of two firearms during a house search in Ballynanty, Limerick have charged a man in connection with the seizure.

The man, in his 50s, was arrested and detained and has now been charged.

He is due to appear before Limerick District Court tomorrow morning.

Two other men have been released without charge.

Investigations are ongoing.
