Man charged in connection with discovery of cannabis growhouse

A 47-year-old man has appeared in court today charged in relation to the discovery of a cannabis growhouse in Co Galway.

The discovery was made at a house near Loughrea yesterday morning.

Gardaí found cannabis plants worth around €100,000 at the scene, as well as cultivation equipment.
