Man charged after fatal Cork stabbing

A man has been charged in connection with the fatal stabbing of Mark Hanlon in Cork city.

The 31-year-old died after being stabbed on Infirmary Road in the early hours of yesterday morning.

Gardaí at Anglesea Street in Cork say the man charged in connection with the incident will appear before Cork District Court tomorrow morning.

A woman who was also being detained in the Bridewell Garda station was released this evening without charge.
