Man arrested in Tallaght hotel death investigation
Plaza Hotel, Tallaght

Gardaí investigating the discovery of a woman's body at the Plaza Hotel in Tallaght have arrested a man in his late 20's.

At around 3.30pm, housekeeping staff at the Plaza Hotel in Tallaght, Dublin found the body of a woman in her 30's in a hotel room.

Gardaí have arrested a man and he is being detained at Tallaght Garda Station where he can be held for up to 24 hours.

The body of the woman has been removed to the morgue at Tallaght Hospital.

A post mortem examination will be carried out tomorrow.
