Man arrested in connection with Limerick heroin seizure

Gardaí have arrested a man in Limerick after heroin with an estimated street value of €70,000 was seized at a house overnight.

A 39-year-old man was taken to Henry Street Garda Station where he is being questioned under Section Two of the Drugs Trafficking Act.

The drugs were found at a house in Briarfield, Castletroy, following a raid by members of the Divisional Drugs Unit and an armed Garda response unit.
