Man arrested in connection with Clondalkin apartments blaze

A 27-year-old man has been arrested in connection with a fire at an apartment complex in Dublin.

The blaze at Thornfield Square in Clondalkin broke out in the early hours of Tuesday, July 9 last.

There were no serious injuries but a number of people were treated in hospital for smoke inhalation.

The man arrested this morning is being held at Clondalkin Garda Station under Section 4 of the Criminal Justice Act.
