Man arrested after newspaper threats regarding President Obama

Gardaí have arrested a man in his 40s following an investigation into threats to kill or cause harm to another person.

It is understood to be in relation to threats made in a Sunday newspaper regarding President Barrack Obama.

The man was arrested after a search of a property in Dublin 1.

He is being detained in Store St Garda Station under the provisions of Section 30 Offences Against the State Act.
