Man arrested after firing shots at Ballyfermot house

Gardaí have arrested a man after a number of shots were fired at a house in west Dublin this morning.

The shooting happened after three men approached the house on Oranmore Road in Ballyfermot at about 10 am.

Garda units responded and a man in his mid 30s was arrested.

A firearm was recovered at the scene.

The man is currently detained at Ballyfermot Garda Station under the Offences Against the State Act.
