Man arrested after firearm is seized

Gardaí in Dublin have seized a firearm and arrested a man.

The handgun was found when Gardaí searched a house in the Dublin 1 area.

A small quantity of cannabis was also discovered and a moped which had been reported stolen in January.

A man in his 20s has been arrested and is being questioned under Section 4 of the Criminal Justice Act at Store Street Garda Station.
