Man arrested after €35k cocaine seizure

A man has been arrested after cocaine worth an estimated €35,000 was seized in Clondalkin, Dublin.

The seizure was made following an intelligence operation involving Revenue's Customs Service and the Garda National Drugs Unit.

Around half a kilo of cocaine has been taken away for analysis.

A 33-year-old South African man was arrested.

He is being held at Clondalkin Garda Station under Section 2 of the Criminal Justice Act 1996.
