Man appears in court over €45,000 drugs seizure

A man appeared in court in Dublin tonight after a large drugs seizure.

It's after officers raided a house in Dublin 15 last night and found diamorphine worth €45,000 and other drugs paraphernalia.

A man in his late 30s was arrested and taken to Pearse Street Garda Station, where he was later charged.

He appeared before the Criminal Courts of Justice this evening.

Garda investigations are ongoing.
