Luas drivers and management to have talks in effort to avert work stoppages

Luas drivers and management will attend talks at the Workplace Relations Commission tomorrow in an effort to avert a strike at the company next month.

Drivers have given notice of two 48-hour work stoppages in a row over pay.

The union representing drivers said, unless there is significant movement in the company's position, the strikes will go ahead.

They are scheduled for February 11, 12, 18 and 19.
