Green Day become stadium rockers

Punk rock trio Green Day are set to play their first stadium shows in America after selling out a massive open air show in England.

The group was so inspired by the news that their summer show at Milton Keynes Bowl had sold out, they decided to arrange dates at baseball, American football and soccer stadiums back home.

More big shows are set to be announced but initial September stadium concerts confirmed are Giants Stadium in New Jersey, SBC Park in San Francisco, California, and the Home Depot Center, Los Angeles.
