Kent Station in Cork will fully re-open today following the partial collapse of a roof canopy yesterday which injured one person.
An investigation into the incident has been launched.
The station will be fully reopened from first service this morning, but Iarnród Éireann says there may be minor delays.
An eyewitness says part of roof on the concourse collapsed on to the commuter train to Cobh.
Irish Rail said two other passengers who were on the platform at the time the roof collapsed were treated at the scene but did not need hospital treatment.
Iarnród Éireann said the partial collapse of the roof happened at platform 1 and 2, from which commuter trains to Cobh and Midleton operate.
