Kenny's colleagues tell him to heed polls

Fine Gael leader Enda Kennay has been told by some of his TDs and Senators that he needs to take notice of recent opinion polls.

The party was neck and neck with Fianna Fáil in the most recent survey, and during a meeting last night of the Fine Gael Parliamentary Party Deputy Kenny was told that to ignore this would be to defy reality.

Media strategy and communication skills were also discussed during the meeting, while a planned economic briefing that was on the agenda was deferred.
