Irish Rail to re-open line between Limerick and Ennis

The railway line between Limerick and Ennis is expected to re-open next month.

It was closed last December due to extensive flooding on the line at Ballycar.

Irish Rail says 1.75 miles of track is still under water.

However, the company is hopeful that unless there is more extreme weather, the line should re-open in the middle of May.
