The IDA has said there will be more technology jobs announced here by multinationals in the coming months.
The statement follows an announcement for Dublin and Galway today by software company SAP, who are adding 250 jobs to the 1,200-strong workforce it already has here.
Donal Murphy from the IDA's technology division said Ireland had become the location of choice for many companies.
"Definitely in the months ahead, we will have some more significant announcements in the technology space, country-wide," he said. "Right now, we're in a good space."
