Hospital have more than 550 patients awaiting beds

There are more than 550 people waiting for hospital beds around the country this morning.

Today's INMO Trolley Watch reveals that 577 patients are waiting for hospital beds.

Of this total, 394 are waiting in emergency departments, while 183 are in wards elsewhere in the hospital.

The worst-hit hospitals today are University Hospital Limerick with 70 waiting for beds, Cork University Hospital where 51 are awaiting beds and University Hospital Waterford with 41 waiting to be admitted.
