A number of guns have been found at a building site in Dublin.

It is understood construction workers at O'Devaney Gardens in the Bridewell area of the city discovered them this afternoon.

Work to regenerate the flats complex in Dublin's North Inner City began last month.

A garda spokeswoman said: “Investigations are ongoing and we have no further information available at this stage.”
