Green Isle protest set for this afternoon

A rally is being held in Naas in Kildare this afternoon to support striking Green Isle Foods workers.

The men - who are members of the Technical Engineering and Electrical Union - have been on strike for more than months over the dismissal of three of their colleagues.

Shop steward Jim Wyse is now on his 11th day of hunger strike.
